Installing the TerraBase App
Android
Step 1: Open the Google Play Store
To install the TerraBase app you will need to open the Google Play Store on your device (smartphone/tablet).
Step 2: Search for the TerraBase app
Type “TerraBase” in the search bar of the Google Play Store.
The TerraBase app is developed by i-Theses.
The store page looks like the following screenshot:
Step 3: Install
Click on the Install button on the store page to install the app.
Step 4: use
After installation, you can start the application by clicking the TerraBase-icon:
Apple iOS
Step 1: register the UDID
For testing the app, the UDID of your iOS device needs to be registered at i-Theses. If the device is already registered by i-Theses, de app can be installed by using the following QR code. Otherwise, go to step 2.
iTunes
- Connect your iPhone to the computer.
- Start iTunes.
- Click on your device's name on the sidebar (in iTunes 11, enable the sidebar from the View menu option.)
- Now you're on the summary tab.
- Click on the Serial number and the UDID is displayed.
- If you hit Ctrl+C (Command+C in Mac), this UDID number gets copied. (or click right-mouse button, Copy)
- Sent it to i-Theses by email (terrabase@i-theses.com - an i-Theses employee will send a confirmation once the UDID has been registered)
Alternative without iTunes
There are other methods the find the UDID without iTunes.
For instance by using 'SuperUDID': https://betafamily.com/superudid
Step 2: download and install
After sending the UDID to i-Theses, you will receive a personalized link to download the app.
Step 3: use
After installation, you can start the application by clicking the TerraBase-icon:
